Role purpose:
- Support the Hyderabad-based RD ICC Technical Market Analysis team.
- Deliver accurate, relevant, and timely research outputs for global RD stakeholders.
- Strengthen the overall Technical Market Analysis capability through coordination with in-market RD teams.

Responsibilities
- Define research-project objectives and select the most appropriate methodology to address them.
- Conduct market analysis to understand category trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify consumer needs through consumer, product, desk-research, and testing activities.
- Respond to global research requests and ad hoc inquiries with relevant evidence and analysis.
- Compile intelligence on competitors products, strategies, channels, sales, marketing, RD, and distribution methods.
- Benchmark RD capabilities against global and local organizations across:
- CPG/FMCG
- Food and beverage
- Health and nutrition
- Life sciences
- Review scientific evidence, including patents, scientific literature, and clinical trials.
- Connect scientific findings with market and business trends to help define the technical direction of functional areas.
- Analyze and synthesize data to identify meaningful insights rather than only reporting information.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations arising from research findings.
- Conduct feasibility assessments for new ideas and innovation opportunities that can advance RD priorities.
- Produce clear reports supported by appropriate graphs, data visualization, and explanatory narrative.
- Present complex findings in a concise, structured, and storytelling-led format for executive leadership.
- Ensure every request is properly processed, documented, tracked, and delivered within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate daily with in-market RD teams to:
- Understand requirements
- Deliver research outputs
- Incorporate feedback
- Provide updates
- Collaborate weekly with the wider Market Analysis capability team on project status, idea generation, and best practices.
- Build and leverage working relationships with other ICC Technical Market Analysis teams in Hyderabad.
- Identify opportunities to improve research processes, efficiency, consistency, and service delivery.
- Identify employee upskilling needs and recommend capability-development actions to the Market Analysis Team Lead.
- Champion new market-analysis initiatives and continuous-improvement opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality and turnaround expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required in one of the following or a related discipline:
- Chemical Engineering
- Food Technology
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Other science-based field
- MBA
- MLS/MLIS
- Masters degree in another relevant science field
