Roles and Responsibility
We are looking for someone who:
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
- NR gNB DU
- 5 10 Years/ Gurgaon
- Notice Period: 30 Days Preferred
Must Have
Strong expertise in 5G NR architecture, specifically the DU/CU split and functional splits (e.g., Option 7.2x).
Hands-on experience in Leading the Layer 2 (MAC Scheduler) protocol design & development.
Extensive knowledge of 3GPP Release 15/16/17 (and awareness of Rel-18) for 5G NR
Proficiency in C/C++ and development within Linux-based systems.
IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for someone who:
Has Strong understanding of 5G NR architecture and protocol stack. Good knowledge of 3GPP standards (Rel-15/16/17/18).
Hands-on experience in 5g Layer 2 MAC scheduler development.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming. Knowledge of multi-threading and concurrency. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with tools like Wireshark, protocol analysers, log analysis tools.
Familiarity with hardware-based test tools such as TM500 or UE simulators and protocol analysers like QXDM, QCAT is a plus.
Proficiency in GIT, Jenkins (CI/CD), and JIRA for agile development
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
Lead the design and architecture of 5G RAN Layer 2 components with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards (Rel-15/16/17/18) and contribute to technical discussions.
Own end-to-end feature delivery: design, development, integration, and validation.
Lead performance tuning for throughput, latency, reliability, and scalability.
Drive debugging and root cause analysis for complex field and interoperability issues.
Collaborate with PHY, RRC, Core Network, and O-RAN teams.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct design/code reviews.
Contribute to technical roadmap & innovation.
Interface with customers, product teams, and external partners
