Job Summary

Vishal Builders Group is looking for an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in Government Building Construction Projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of quality assurance, quality control procedures, government specifications, and construction standards. Candidates must have hands-on experience in executing quality systems for large-scale government infrastructure/building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) systems at project sites.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract requirements.
• Monitor all civil construction activities to ensure compliance with CPWD, BIS, IS Codes, and other applicable standards.
• Conduct inspections for incoming materials, ongoing construction activities, and completed works.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IR), Method Statements, and Material Approval Requests.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, project managers, and site engineers for quality compliance.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, quality reports, test records, and audit reports.
• Ensure timely testing of construction materials through approved laboratories.
• Conduct internal quality audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
• Train site engineers and supervisors on quality procedures and best construction practices.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures in civil construction.
• Thorough understanding of Government Building Projects.
• Knowledge of CPWD Specifications, BIS Standards, IS Codes, and NBC guidelines.
• Experience in handling laboratory testing and quality documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Government Building Construction Projects.
• Experience in managing quality for medium to large-scale building projects.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
