Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards in the weld shop, press shop, sheet metal, and supplier quality assurance processes.
- Lead and oversee quality planning, inspection systems, and audits across all weld shop and sheet
metal operations. - Conduct and oversee VSA (Vendor System Audit) to ensure compliance with OEM standards and
customer requirements. - Sound Knowledge about Sheet Metal production and Weld Shop Defects.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects or non-conformities.
- Develop and maintain procedures for customer complaint handling, investigation, and resolution to ensure timely closure of issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Job Requirements :
- 15-20 years of experience in automotive industry with expertise in inprocess quality management systems (ISO audit).
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 standard and its application in manufacturing processes.
- Experience with VSAs (Vendor System Assessment) audits and supplier audits is essential.
- Experience with Sheet Metal Industries is Must.
