Quality Engineer (Off-roll)

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the end-to-end manufacturing process to ensure product and process quality.
• Expertise in handling suppliers and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience in Hot Rolling, Fabrication, Surface Coating, and Hot Dip Galvanizing.
• Prepare detailed reports on performance, quality, and defect rates.
• Document non-conformities promptly and recommend corrective actions for quick resolution.
• Assess product quality and ensure compliance with tolerance standards by inspecting products, components, and materials.
• Participate in QA and production meetings with the manufacturing team.
• Coordinate with TPI and customers regarding project status and inspection planning schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Metallurgy Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Experience in solar projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, quality control and assurance principles, GD&T, quality tools, and documentation.
