Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer (Fresher)
Location: Chakan, Pune
Industry: Sheet Metal Manufacturing
Experience: 01 Year (Freshers Welcome)
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspection of sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge.
• Prepare quality inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Identify defects and coordinate with production for corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety, and 5S practices.

Required Skills

• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
• Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor.
