Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Your role includes continuous testing efforts that cover security aspects, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements throughout the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring robust and reliable application performance.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that span the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components and ecosystems to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites, alongside developing and maintaining automated testing scripts. The position also involves supporting data and environment configurations, actively engaging in code reviews, and tracking defects to foster ongoing enhancements in testing processes and overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.

Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks and methodologies.

Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.

Continuously monitor testing outcomes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:

In depth knowledge and experience with VeriFix and FIX protocol, Proficiency in Automated Testing, Selenium, Java Enterprise Edition.

Domain Knowledge : Fixed income and/or derivatives market knowledge. Hands-on FIX knowledge w.r.t Order entry and Market Data

Creating and executing test cases to ensure software systems meet functional and technical requirements.

Selenium Java automation skills with BDD

Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.

Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines in software development.

Familiarity with testing various application layers including security, API, and regression testing.

Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

Knowledge of environment and data configuration to support automated testing activities.

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.

This position is based at our Pune Magarpatta office and 2 Days in week office visit.

A 15 years full time education is required.
