For our Hardware Business we are looking for a Team Member-Quality & Vendor Stocks who has an experience of 3-5 years in related industry of alum extrusion, surface coating (anodizing and power coating) and quality checking at glass processing vendor. The incumbent is required to travel various vendors premises and do the quality check and also managing and reconciling stocks. We would prefer the member need to be based in Bangalore so that, he will be able to visit various vendors in and around Karnataka. Warehouse operation experience is preferable with good communication and analytical skills.

1. Incoming material quality of aluminium extrusion inspection surface-treated components (anodized/powder coated) for dimensions, coating thickness, colour uniformity and defects.
2. Coordinate with Glass Processors (toughened/laminated) for quality checks, approval and timely supplies to the projects.

3. Visit various vendors and do quality checks as per specifications and also monitor and reconciling stocks and coordinate with the Hardware Business warehouse

4. Identify more vendors for doing value addition of power coating / anodizing and include them in Saint-Gobain vendor fraternity as per the laid down process in coordination with Purchase.

5. Coordinating with vendors and Purchase team to prioritize our production requirement based on our project needs.

6. Follow up with vendors for corrective actions and non-conformities and comply with documentation formalities.

7. Working on various reports & analysis related to the stocks of the vendors & sending it to the Warehouse and Purchase team.

8. Coordinate with the Quality Incharge for Hardware Business Solution and implement all quality related compliances in all vendor premises as per SGIPL requirements.

9. Physical stock verification along with external auditors and ensure no discrepancy of stocks as per our books.

10. Any other activities which are needed for the Quality compliance and managing and tracking stocks at the vendors’ premises.

Is accountable primarily for a sales of Shower Enclosures, Kitchen shutters, Aspira, RTU, Windows and wardrobes but will also look for opportunity for other products and its KRA includes

He needs to do primirily stationed in and around Bangalore to visit various vendors of alum profile manufacturers and anodizing/powerder coating vendors. Very rarely he may need to travel outside Karnataka based on business needs. As we expect this candidate to manage and reconcile vendors’ stocks at their premises, warehouse operation experience is prfrable. He also needs to visit glass processing vendors for quality checks and conformities. He has to coordiante with the Quality incharge for Hardware Business to ensure implementation of quality requirements as per SGIPL specifications. Whenever there is a need, he may need to visit Project sites with reference to Quality compliance.

Qualifications / experience required (Relevant academic qualification, min experience & typical attributes required for this position)

1. Diploma /Bachelor in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical /Material Engineering

2. Good communication skills English (Hindi is preferred)

3. 3-5 Years experience in Quality Management and Warehouse operation knowledge is preferable
