Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that enhance the overall quality of software applications. The role includes integrating various tools and processes to support continuous testing efforts, ensuring that security, application programming interface, and regression tests are effectively executed. The Quality Engineer actively participates in reviewing code, identifying defects, and facilitating improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. This position requires a proactive approach to managing testing environments and data configurations, contributing to the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Lead efforts to define and implement automation strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.

Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure testing activities are aligned with business requirements and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Selenium.

Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.

Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.

Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report software quality metrics.

Understanding of security testing principles and API testing methodologies.

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.

This position is based at our Chennai office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
