Job Description Quality Control (QC) Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct raw material, in-line, and final inspections as per AQL standards.
- Ensure product quality compliance with buyer specifications, quality manuals, and export standards.
- Handle quality control for home furnishing Knitted products including, cushions, Throws, soft toys, bags, baby blanket, Poufs, basket, Play mats Quilts, etc.
- Monitor fabric quality, GSM, color fastness, shrinkage, stitching, finishing, packing, and labeling.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and third-party inspection agencies for smooth quality approvals.
- Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection analysis, and quality records in ERP systems.
- Support buyer audits, compliance checks, and factory evaluations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AQL inspection standards and quality processes.
- Experience in home furnishing or textile export quality control.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/customized ERP).
Good understanding of buyer specifications and export quality requirements
