Quality Assurance - Executive

Position Title: Executive - Quality Assurance

Location: Chh. Sambhajinagar

Qualification

• Mandatory: BE / DME Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred: BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 06-08 years in the Automobile industry

Technical / Functional Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO/TS systems
• Experience in Supplier QA development and system implementation
• Skilled in document preparation, internal audits, process & product audits, SPC at various stages
• Hands-on with vendor improvements and special process sustenance verification
• Exposure to special processes: painting, powder coating, anodizing, welding, heat treatment
• Knowledge of casting, press parts, rubber parts, plastic parts
• Proficiency in CMM, Trimos, hardness tester inspection
• Expertise in PPAP / APQP, SPC, 7QC Tools
• Ability to generate & execute Kaizens, OPL, VA/VE ideas, process optimization
• Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, 3D models, AutoCAD
• Good communication & presentation skills

Key Deliverables / Accountabilities

• Ensure zero internal customer complaints related to supplier products
• Maintain desired quality levels of supplier products
• Conduct vendor process & product audits as per plan with timely communication
• Drive at least 5 Kaizens per supplier per month
• Perform root cause analysis, action implementation & sustenance at supplier end
• Monitor daily rejections at supplier end and ensure corrective actions

• SAP
• ISO/TS 16949
• PPAP, APQP
• TPM
