Job Description:

Weare looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work in the project in which we deliver the API layer of Viessmann IoT stack. The project team uses the state of the art technologies like TypeScript, Node.js or Kubernetes to deliver robust and convenient middleware to be used by a number of applications: mobile and web, internal and developed outside of our company. The person in the given job position will be responsible for the testing and implementing automation tests for backend applications using TypeScript.

Your responsibilities:

• Automation testing of backend applications/services.
• Design and implementation of automatic tests (JavaScript, Typescript, Cucumber).
• Manual testing of backend applications/services.
• Development and improvement of CI/CD process up to the Production.
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation: test reports, release notes.
• Regression testing.
• Work with real devices

What we expect:

• Programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Knowledge of tests automation of various interfaces with focus on REST, AMQP, WebSocket' s, libraries.
• Usage of cloud tools and concepts, implementations with cloud based on Azure/AWS.
• Experience with testing tools (Jira, Postman).
• Knowledge of Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Knowledge of CI/CD.
• Knowledge of / experienced in agile development methodologies (e.g.SCRUM).
• Basics of Docker.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• The ISTQB Certificate is a plus.
