Role & responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Focuses on implementing and maintaining quality management systems
• Enhancing product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Delivering high-quality products and ensuring adherence to best practices in quality assurance.

ISO Process Implementation:

• • Develop, implement, and maintain ISO processes (ISO 9001 or relevant standards) across the organization.
• • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards. • Provide training and guidance to teams on ISO processes and quality management principles. Incoming/Inward Material Inspection:
• • Conduct quality checks on all incoming raw materials to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
• • Document and report any discrepancies or non-conforming materials to relevant departments. T

Test certificate and technical documentation:

• • Prepare and maintain detailed test certificates for materials and products.
• • Ensure that all certificates are compliant with industry standards and meet customer requirements.
• • Prepare and maintain Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for products.
• • Ensure accuracy and compliance of the documentation with industry regulations.

Product Testing:

• • Conduct regular testing of products to ensure they meet the required quality and performance standards.
• • Implement and oversee lab testing procedures to monitor product reliability and durability.

Customer Complaint Handling:

• Handle customer complaints related to product quality, investigating root causes and providing timely resolutions.
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to avoid recurrence of issues.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve quality-related concerns.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with all quality standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental laws.
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, audits, and test results.
• Report on key quality metrics to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Mechanical Engineer with experience in Quality Assurance
• Proficiency in QA/QC methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Expertise in preparing and managing documentation
• Skilled in implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
