Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer

Position: Engineer Function: QA/QC Experience: 5to 8 years

We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in site layouts, infrastructure works, and villa construction

Key Responsibilities:

Review of Technical Documentation:

Review pre-qualification documents, method statements, checklists, material submittals, and test reports to ensure compliance with contracts specifications and project requirements.

Quality Assurance of Workmanship: Ensure the quality and workmanship of all construction activities, applying deep technical knowledge across civil, architectural, and structural disciplines, including interdisciplinary coordination.

QA/QC Documentation Management:

Manage and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation for the entire project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-conformance reports (NCRs), site instructions, and records of delivered permanent materials.

Material Inspection and Compliance:

Review the quality of all materials delivered to the site, ensuring they meet project specifications. Coordinate with the procurement team to guarantee material compliance.

Development of Method Statements: Prepare method statements incorporating risk assessments, job safety and environmental analyses, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and relevant checklists based on project specifications and industry standards.

Daily Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and on-site testing to verify compliance with approved quality standards and construction specifications.

Training and Awareness: Provide regular training and awareness sessions to staff and workers to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with ongoing project requirements.

Supervision of Specialized Works: Oversee specialized construction activities, including waterproofing, grouting, tile installation, and other critical finishing works.

Issue Resolution and Non-Conformance Handling: Identify, analyse, and resolve QA/QC issues such as field discrepancies and non-conformities through corrective and preventive actions.

Quality Plan Implementation: Implement and enforce project-specific Quality Control Plans and procedures on-site to ensure adherence to the defined quality benchmarks.

Site Activity Documentation: Review, update, and maintain method statements and other related documents for all site activities, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.

Coordination and Handover: Coordination with the site teams to resolve snags, ensure completion of outstanding works, and prepare comprehensive handover documentation.

Quality Observation Reports: Prepare and submit weekly quality observation reports related to site execution activities and ensure timely closure of raised observations.

Audit: Responsible for performing periodic internal audits, maintaining mandatory records per ISO standards, and coordinating audit activities with both internal stakeholders and external certification agencies.

Ownership of Quality: Take full ownership and responsibility for the quality of works, fostering a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across the project.

Qualification & Skills:

• BE Civil Engineering (Full Time-Regular)
• Surveying, AutoCAD, Microsoft world, Power point.
