Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer

We are currently hiring QA Automation Engineers for our client in Chennai.

Position: QA Automation Engineer Playwright
Location: Chennai
Experience: 2–7 Years

Required Skills:

• Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript
• UI Automation Framework Development
• API Testing (Postman, Playwright API, REST Assured)
• CI/CD Tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Cross-browser & End-to-End Testing
• SQL & Database Validation

Good to Have:

• Cucumber (BDD)
• Docker & Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing and database validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and participate in automation code reviews.

Eligibility:

• 2–7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
