Job Description Site Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Position: Site Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Department: Projects / Commercial
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 1–5 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Industry: Real Estate / Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, quantity estimates, and rate analysis.
• Take site measurements and prepare measurement sheets.
• Verify and process contractor RA bills and final bills.
• Check quantities as per approved drawings and site execution.
• Monitor material consumption and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors, Procurement, and Project Teams.
• Track project quantities, costs, and variations.
• Prepare work orders, subcontractor bills, and quantity statements.
• Identify quantity variations and support cost control.
• Maintain proper QS documentation and commercial records.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement.
• Good understanding of BOQ, billing, rate analysis, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS software.
• Ability to read and understand civil/construction drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in villa and high-rise residential projects is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in site quantity surveying, contractor billing, BOQ preparation, and residential construction projects will be preferred.
