QS and Estimation Engineer

Role Overview

• Position: Senior Engineer Quantity Surveying (QS) and Estimation

Key Responsibilities

• Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Prepare accurate BOQs, take-off quantities from architectural and structural drawings, and estimate project costs.
• Billing & Valuation: Review and certify subcontractor running account (RA) bills, measurements, and final bills as per site progress.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs, track budget variances, and report cost overruns to management.
• Contract Administration: Handle sub-contractor claims, rate analysis for extra items, and variation statements.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate with project, planning, and procurement teams to reconcile material consumption and reconciliation.

Required Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of core experience in QS and estimation specifically for high-rise residential or large-scale building projects.
• Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and standard estimation software/tools. Strong knowledge of rate analysis, contracts, and market rates.
