Qc Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop & Implement Quality Policy & Procedure to ensure that all the products & services meets the required quality standards.
• Develop and implement methods for tracking and reporting quality control metrics to senior management & stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in the quality control process and implement measures to address these issues.
• Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure that they are familiar with quality control policies and procedures.
• Manage a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all quality control issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• To handle quality issue-including Non-conformity, analysing the data, carrying out root cause analysis, CAPA, etc.
• Lead Activities and output of Metallurgy lab, sand testing lab and chemistry lab.
• To perform product & Process Audit independently.
• To handle Internal Customer complaint-Tracking, recording & Closure.
• To evaluate methods of Inspection, Use of Instrument according to Engineering Drawing.
• Produces detailed Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work procedures
• Maintaining 5S, Safety and Environment of the shop and surrounding.
• Drive for Innovative and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Knowledge of 5 core tools & 7QC Tools.
• Environment, 5S and TPM in shop floor.
• Ability to identify & address issues & Conduct Process & Product Audit.
• Cost and Quality Consciousness.
