Qa Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
• Prepare / review test scenarios.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
• Analyze and prepare positive and negative test scenarios.
• Responsible to execution of Manual test cases.
• Responsible to tracking and logging defects during execution.
• Generating reports such as defect analysis report, project status report, etc.
• Actively participate in requirement analysis, test design and sprint planning.
• Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.

Need to Have Areas

• Experience required- 3-7 years
• B. Tech, MCA, M. Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject
• Good Knowledge in JIRA & Confluence.
• Exposure to Test management Tool
• Good Knowledge API Test Automation using SOAP-UI & POSTMAN.
• Good Knowledge of Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
• Have good understanding of Software testing lifecycle.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving techniques.
• Should have Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies.
• Good working knowledge on agile methodology (Scrum& KANBAN) and process
• Should be hands on Manual Testing as the initial phase would entail manual testing. Future releases would need automation due to regression testing of previous functionality
