Qa Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Tester with 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably within HRMS, HR Tech, or EdTech products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to develop effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and SaaS-based applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Customer Success teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Validate HR workflows such as Employee Lifecycle Management, Attendance, Payroll, Leave Management, Performance Management, Recruitment, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and related modules.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct API testing and database validation as required.
• Support release validation and production deployment testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of QA testing experience in SaaS products.
• Prior experience in HRMS, HR Tech, Talent Management, Payroll, Recruitment Platforms, LMS, or EdTech solutions is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience testing cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Understanding of HR processes, payroll systems, employee management workflows, or learning management platforms.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing fundamentals.
