We are currently looking for a QA Tester for a long-term consulting assignment with our client in the banking sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, data-driven organization focused on automation, quality engineering, and scalable software solutions that support critical financial and credit management processes.
About the Role
QA Tester
We are looking for a QA Tester with 6 8 years of experience in automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Robot Framework for web and mobile applications. The role involves executing test suites, analyzing results, reporting defects, and supporting automation framework enhancements.
Experience Required: 6 8 years. Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute end-to-end test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate testing activities across teams and stakeholders.
- Perform functional, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Track, manage, and report defects.
- Prepare test status reports and test summary reports.
- Support test automation initiatives.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure quality delivery.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of JIRA, QMetry, and Confluence.
- Experience in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong defect management and reporting skills.
- Basic understanding of test automation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Retail domain experience is an added advantage.
