Job Responsibilities

• Test Design and Execution
• Analyze project requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios for functional, API, and data validation.
• Apply risk-based testing techniques to prioritize test execution based on business impact and technical risk.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and data accuracy.
• Maintain and update automated test scripts with guidance from senior automation engineers.
• Perform regression and smoke testing as part of continuous integration pipelines.
• Defect Identification and Reporting
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects using tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues quickly.
• Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes and avoid reoccurrences.
• Collaboration with the Test Automation Team
• Work closely with automation engineers to integrate automated tests into sprint delivery.
• Identify manual test cases that can be automated to increase coverage.
• Assist in debugging failed automated scripts and updating them as needed.
• Create automated test scripts using any automation tool and bring value adds to the project.
• Collaboration and Communication
• Engage early in the development lifecycle to provide input on requirements and designs (shift-left testing).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers to the team in a timely manner.
