5+ years hands-on, practical experience in test automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress. Ability to design reusable test components within assigned test suites.
5+ years hands-on experience using Java/JavaScript/Python. Proficient in OOP (object-oriented test framework usage, understanding of page object models, and basic multi-threaded test execution patterns) and design patterns/design principles.
5+ years hands-on API testing using Playwright API, REST Assured, Karate DSL, or similar frameworks and/or tools such as Postman, Ready API. Ability to design and execute API contract tests and validate request/response payloads.
Hands-on experience with Harness, Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps CI/CD (build app and deploy app), including reading pipeline configurations, running builds, and understanding basic delegate behavior.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git/Bitbucket, including branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and code review practices.
Good communication skills oral and written.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Hands-on BDD/Cucumber practical experience writing Gherkin scenarios, implementing step definitions, and organizing tests for readability.
Hands-on experience with performance testing.
Hands-on k6 experience with arrival-rate executors (not VU-based); ability to write basic load test scenarios and interpret results under guidance.
Hands-on JMeter: exposure to load testing design, understanding of thread groups and ramp-up/ramp-down profiles, and basic performance metric collection.
Hands-on Appium: mobile test scaffolding for iOS/Android, implementing page object models for mobile apps, and cross-platform test reusability.
Hands-on MCP: exposure to AI-assisted automation, basic prompt engineering for test generation, and understanding of integration patterns with test frameworks.
Working knowledge of Terraform on GCP; ability to read and understand GCP service account configurations and validate basic infrastructure changes
