Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium , along with experience in the banking domain . The candidate will be responsible for building automation frameworks, ensuring application quality, and supporting end-to-end testing of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java
Build and enhance test automation frameworks (Hybrid/Data-driven/BDD)
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Validate banking applications including payments, transactions, and core banking systems
Develop and execute API test cases (REST/SOAP)
Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
Collaborate with developers, BA, and business teams for requirement clarity
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Java programming
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience in test frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)
Good understanding of banking domain (Retail/Corporate/Payments)
Experience in API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
Knowledge of SQL for database validation
Understanding of SDLC and STLC

Good to Have:

Experience in BDD framework (Cucumber)
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)
Knowledge of automation using Playwright
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
Relevant certifications in QA / Automation / Banking domain are a plus
