Role Overview

Pratiti Technologies is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and a strong understanding of modern test automation practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software releases through functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. You will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, enabling continuous quality and faster delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites to ensure product quality.
• Set up, integrate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results, investigate defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Improve automation coverage, optimize testing strategies, and recommend best practices for quality assurance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and automation reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for QA automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
