QA Engineer

Develop comprehensive test plans, including scope, objectives and resources.
Define testing strategies, methodologies, and standards for both manual and automated testing.
Foster a collaborative and innovative testing culture within the team.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts.
Identify and select appropriate automation tools and technologies.
Ensure efficient and effective automated test coverage for regression and functional testing.
Coordinate with development teams to prioritize and address issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate cutting-edge testing techniques.
Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Create and update test summary reports and defect tracking documents.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
A minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proven knowledge and experience in mobile application testing.
Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Proven expertise in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., API automation, Postman, Appium).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python.
Performance testing using JMeter.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
Proficiency in Version Control Sysem. (e.g. Git, Bitbucket.)
Basic knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure.
Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, are a plus.
