Qa Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 5-6 years of experience in Manual Testing and at least 1-2 years of hands-on Automation Testing experience. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in designing and executing test cases, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular quality updates to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage.

Required Skills

• 56 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Good knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
