QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing along with API and UI testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating end-to-end application workflows, ensuring high-quality releases across web applications and backend services.

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios
• Perform functional testing across web applications to ensure business workflows are validated end-to-end
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman or similar to validate request/response, status codes, and business logic
• Conduct UI testing across different browsers and devices to ensure consistency and usability
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test data
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
• Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Strong experience in functional/manual testing
• Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
• Good experience in UI/Web testing (cross-browser validation)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with test case design and execution

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium / Playwright)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git)
• Experience in performance or security testing basics
