QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in API Testing and API Automation using Rest Assured. The candidate will be responsible for validating payment-related APIs, building automation frameworks, and performing end-to-end testing of payment devices and transaction flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute API test cases.
• Create and maintain API automation scripts using Rest Assured.
• Validate request/response payloads, business rules, and transaction flows.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Test and validate payment device interactions and payment transaction processing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams.

Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of QA experience.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing.
• Hands-on experience in Rest Assured API Automation.
• Good programming/scripting skills in Java.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools.
• Understanding of software testing concepts and defect lifecycle.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Experience with Playwright Automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.

Domain Exposure

• Payment processing and payment transaction testing.
• Payment device testing is highly desirable.

This role is primarily focused on API Testing, API Automation, and Payment Device Testing.
