Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with any industry-standard automation framework or tool and a strong understanding of software testing principles. You will work closely with developers, product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, or API applications. 
• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality. 
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. 
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. 
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. 
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and integration testing. 
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports. 
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and testing processes. 
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. 

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation. 
• Hands-on experience with any automation tool/framework, such as: 
• Selenium 
• Playwright 
• Cypress 
• TestComplete
• Robot Framework 
• Appium 
• UFT (QTP) 
• Any equivalent automation framework 
• Experience in programming/scripting using Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages. 
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. 
• Understanding of test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, or equivalent. 
• Experience with version control systems like Git. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. 
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. 
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. 

Good to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing. 
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing. 
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes. 
• ISTQB Certification is a plus. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
