Job Description
We are looking for a smart QA Automation Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain our test automation infrastructure across Tarana's product lines. You will own feature test planning and execution, contribute to our automation framework, and apply AI/GenAI tooling to improve regression analysis. This role requires solid embedded Telecom/ networking knowledge along with strong test automation skills.
Required Qualifications
1) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2) 46 years of QA automation experience using Python.
3) Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Python test frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or nose.
4) Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI/LLM-based tools in testing workflows.
5) Experience with API testing using REST, JSON, and XML.
6) Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
7) Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
8) Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
9) Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Skills
1) Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
2) Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and L2/L3/L4 protocols.
3) Exposure to networking test tools such as IPerf, IXIA, Spirent, Xena, or VIAVI JDSU.
4) Experience working on embedded telecom or networking products.
