Job Overview
We are looking for a QA Automation engineer with 1-3 Years experience to join our engineering team. Required skills: Minimum 1 year of Software QA experience (Mandatory), Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, Hands-on experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server, Good understanding of STLC and SDLC, Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management, Basic knowledge of Selenium and Playwright, Ability to understand and test complex business workflows, Strong communication documentation and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently and collaboratively, Preferred skills: Insurance domain experience / API testing using Postman / Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum / Familiarity with Git is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and functional specifications to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and support UAT.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Validate complex business workflows and ensure end-to-end application quality.
- Perform database validation using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.
- Assist in automation testing by creating or maintaining test scripts.
- Prepare test execution, defect, and daily/weekly status reports.
- Follow QA standards, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Software QA experience (Mandatory)
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
