QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for Mobile Applications (Android & iOS), Web Applications, and Backend Automation.

• You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery through automation across multiple platforms.
• Ability to design test scenarios, test cases, test data and identify testable conditions and gaps.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Java / Python / JavaScript.
• Experience with databases like MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile (Native & Hybrid) applications.
• Ensure optimal test coverage for business-critical functionalities.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Exposure to tools like JMeter or K6.
• Validate user stories against acceptance criteria and provide QA sign-off.
• Contribute to release planning and publish release notes for new features and fixes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and automation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help evolve QA methodologies.
• Write automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for UI, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing.
• Work on API Automation (REST) using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.
• Implement CI/CD integration for automated test execution (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and cross-device testing (real devices + emulators).
• Design and maintain Page Object Model (POM), data-driven, and keyword-driven frameworks.
• Collaborate with Developers, Manual QA, and Product teams to understand requirements and identify automation scope.
• Identify, report, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
