QA Automation Engineer Agentic & AI-Driven Testing (Playwright + Selenium)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team.
This role is focused on modern quality engineering practices, including agentic testing and AI-driven validation. You will work with homegrown AI agents powered by multiple AI models and help transform both automated and manual testing through AI augmentation.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript) and/or Selenium (Java), along with a passion for leveraging AI to improve test efficiency, coverage, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using: Playwright (JavaScript) for modern UI automation, Selenium (Java) for existing/legacy automation suites
Contribute to the validation of agentic testing solutions using internally built AI agents by integrating AI-driven techniques into manual testing workflows, including AI-assisted test case generation, Intelligent test execution support, Automated validation and result analysis
Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure high-quality deliverables which defines and implements intelligent test strategies, including Self-healing test frameworks, Adaptive test execution and, AI-assisted testing approaches
Execute functional testing across UI, API, DB and integrated systems
Identify, log, and track defects using Gartner s adopted test management system
Collaborate with distributed teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, with strong emphasis on AI-led testing transformation
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or a related field with 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation
Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and/or Selenium (Java) in building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks along with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent, etc.)
Hands-on experience or strong exposure to AI-driven or agentic testing approaches leveraging multiple AI models (LLMs or similar)
Proven ability in augmenting manual testing using AI agents AI in manual Test case generation and optimization, manual Test execution and validation, Defect detection and analysis
Ability to quickly learn and work with custom-built internal AI testing platforms
Exposure to Copilot, AI test agents, or LLM-based automation solutions is highly preferred
Expertise in QA prompt engineering, including designing and optimizing prompts to effectively drive AI agents for test generation, execution, and validation.

Strong understanding of OOP concepts and test design patterns (POM, BDD, Hybrid frameworks)
Experience in front end, API testing (Postman or similar tools), backend (database validation (DML/DQL)) and, integration testing
Experience with executing CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins/CloudBees
Experience with JIRA and test management tools (AIO preferred)
Version control experience with Git/Bitbucket
Experience with Salesforce platform and SOQL queries
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong ownership with a quality-first mindset
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with performance and load testing using JMeter
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
