Role & responsibilities
Primary Skills (Must Have)
Strong Python experience (mandatory).
Experience building AI-powered applications.
Experience with:
LLM applications.
Agentic AI workflows.
Multi-agent workflows.
RAG-based applications.
Strong backend engineering experience.
Experience building applications that interact with multiple data sources and complex workflows.
Preferred / Secondary Skills
Java knowledge and experience (strongly preferred).
API testing.
Debugging.
Observability and monitoring.
CI/CD exposure.
Cloud platform experience.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) awareness.
Agent frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
Skills Clarifications
Python vs Java
Python is mandatory.
Java is not mandatory but strongly preferred.
Existing services are written in Java.
Candidate should have sufficient understanding of Java code to monitor and work alongside existing services.
3 years of AI experience required.
Strong backend engineering experience is essential.
Experience with AI application development outweighs pure ML experience.
System Design will be the primary interview focus.
