Python Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer who can efficiently handle ongoing maintenance-based projects and actively leverage AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and optimization.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Django and Django Rest Framework, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and U.S.-based clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Python
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Django and DRF
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, or similar) to improve development speed and code quality.
• Debug, fix bugs, and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Work on ongoing maintenance and enhancement projects with quick turnaround times
• Deploy, manage, and maintain applications on AWS
• Handle complex technical issues related to web application development
• Coordinate with Front-end developers and QA teams
• Participate in project execution and client communication

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proven expertise in Python Django with DRF
• Experience working on maintenance-based or long-running projects
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools for faster delivery
• Fluent in English for effective client communication
• Strong solution-oriented and ownership mindset
• Good team player with the ability to work independently

Nice to Have (Strong Advantage)

• Experience with legacy code refactoring
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
