Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• BDD Framework Implementation: Utilize Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, Behave to enhance test automation.
• Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide technical guidance on best practices for testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to verify software and hardware functionality.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for product improvements.
• Work closely with development, product management, and QA teams to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues in various environments.
• Continuously explore new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance testing effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in testing tools, scripting languages (Python, bash, etc.), and automation frameworks.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Xray for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Strong expertise in Linux administration, system troubleshooting, rpm package management tools (dnf, yum etc).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desired but not mandatory.
• Ability to fluidly change context and priorities based on business needs.
• A passion for problem-solving, attention to detail, and a drive for innovation.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills by actively contributing to group efforts, supporting colleagues, and fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
