Python Lead/Architect
Location: India (Pune)
Min Exp: 8-14 Years
The Python Lead/Architect is a senior level position in a dev team. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing, leading and implementing software products/applications on the Python Platform. This role will involve gathering requirements, designing and leading the engineering team in building Python based products/applications. It is a very challenging role with an opportunity to build innovative Cloud Based solutions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead/Architect mentoring and guiding an engineering team in implementing Python-based solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementation, and testing of Python applications; hands-on experience in Core Python
- Hands on experience in regex (regular expression)
- Knowledge of at least one Python Web Framework such as Fast API,Django, Flask, etc.
- Knowledge of using Celery (or similar job orchestrator)
- Should have working knowledge of RDBMS, interacting with DB using SQL as well as programmatically .
- Experience of unit testing frameworks like pytest, unit test etc. performance testing .
- Proficient in Unix OS, Shell script
- Knowledge of creating a Python based framework from the scratch
- Should understand deployment and build automation
- Strong organizational, oral and written communications skills
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
- Experience working remotely as part of a distributed engineering team
- Exposure to any Cloud Environment is a plus
- Experience with python libraries like Pandas, numpy, requests etc .
Good To Have :
- Any Cloud Experience
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, dockerization
- Experience working with GCP APIs
