Python Lead

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python lead to lead the development of core services, features and capabilities for an enterprise-grade application. This role blends strong Python engineering into secure, scalable enterprise environments using cloud platforms like AWS , Azure, etc.

The ideal candidate will bring practical development and platform engineering experience to the team to solve emerging engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services and APIs enabling secure access, robustness and scalability.
• Optimise Python-based components using cloud based libraries for AWS or Azure. Collaborate closely with platform architects, and design APIs to ensure a scalable optimized and enterprise ready application.
• Help shape API standards, reusable patterns, and documentation for platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot and optimise performance across distributed systems and cloud services.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in leading the team.
• Strong Python engineering in production systems.
• Comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments with strict security controls.

Preferred Skills

Development of AWS services: Lambda Functions, S3, SQS, DynamoDB. RESTful API development / microservices. Experience with NoSQLdatabases
