Python Developer Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
• Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and performance.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS using ECS, ECR, Lambda, and SQS.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities to enable intelligent chat experiences over structured and unstructured data.
• Develop scalable services for data ingestion, retrieval, and conversational AI workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and implement security best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with the Django framework.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services including ECS, ECR, Lambda, and SQS.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI-based conversational solutions into applications.
• Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
