Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET Backend QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, backend validation, API testing, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python automation frameworks, AWS serverless services, Kafka, and Unix/Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Python and PyTest.
Perform end-to-end testing of backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
Develop and execute automated test cases for REST APIs and backend systems.
Validate data flow and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure software quality.
Create and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test suites.
Perform root cause analysis of defects and support troubleshooting activities.
Validate cloud-based applications deployed on AWS Serverless Services.
Prepare test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Python Programming.
Hands-on experience with PyTest Framework.
Expertise in API Testing (REST APIs, JSON, Postman, automation frameworks).
Good knowledge of AWS Serverless Services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
Experience with Kafka messaging systems.
Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in Backend QA and Test Automation.
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
