Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Tester with 3-7 years of experience in software testing, automation, and API validation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python programming, PyTest framework, test automation, and manual testing methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts while ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and PyTest.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and APIs.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test utilities.

• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman and automated API testing frameworks.

• Create, review, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements.

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation practices.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.

• Hands-on experience with PyTest framework.

• Experience in API Testing (REST APIs).

• Expertise in Test Automation Framework Development and Maintenance.

• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

• Experience in Manual Testing, including test case design and execution.

• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to Selenium or other UI automation tools.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
