Python Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with a strong background in AI-driven automation and Networking technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks, network protocol validation, and integrating AI solutions to improve network operations and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and tools.
• Automate network configuration, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes.
• Develop AI/ML-enabled solutions for network analytics, anomaly detection, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with networking, security, and infrastructure teams to automate complex workflows.
• Build and optimize APIs, scripts, and automation pipelines.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues and implement automation solutions.
• Integrate authentication and authorization systems with automated network environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and best practices for automation solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python Automation.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and AI-driven automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of:
• Layer 2 Networking
• Layer 3 Networking
• IEEE 802.1X Authentication
• AAA (Authentication, Authorization & Accounting)
• RADIUS Protocol
• Experience with network automation tools, APIs, and scripting frameworks.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting and protocol analysis.

Good-to-Have Skills

• VPN Client and VPN Server applications
• IPv4 and IPv6 Networking
• Active Directory (AD)
• Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID)
• SAML Authentication
• TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus)
• Experience with cloud networking and security technologies
• Familiarity with Linux environments and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications
