Your Role
As anPU1 Support, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining enterprise applications used in Hydro Water Generation and Hydroelectric Power Operations environments. You will work closely with business users, vendors, and technology teams to ensure application stability, resolve incidents, perform configurations, and drive continuous operational improvements.
In this role, you will:
- Provide application and techno-functional support for enterprise applications in power generation operations.
- Troubleshoot incidents, analyze issues, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external vendors.
- Perform application configurations and resolve small to medium complexity issues independently.
- Monitor application performance and ensure service availability and operational efficiency.
- Support incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and support business-critical processes.
- Support system integrations, interfaces, and data flow troubleshooting.
- UtilizeOSIsoft / AVEVA PI Systemfor operational data management and analysis.
- Create, maintain, and optimize reports usingPI DataLinkfor reporting, analysis, and data extraction.
Your Profile
Required Skills Experience
- 4-10 years of experience inApplication Support, Techno-Functional Support, or Triage Engineering roles.
- Strong experience supporting and troubleshootingthird-party enterprise applications.
- Ability to perform application configuration and independently resolve small to medium complexity issues.
- Strong knowledge of incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience inHydro Water Generation / Hydroelectric Power Operations.
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments and power generation applications.
- Hands-on experience withOSIsoft / AVEVA PI System.
- Strong working knowledge ofPI DataLinkfor reporting, analysis, and data extraction.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Utility, Energy, or Power Generation sectors.
- Exposure to SCADA, Asset Management, Maintenance, or Operations applications.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes and service management frameworks.
- Experience working in production support environments with critical operational systems.
- ITIL Foundation or relevant support certifications.
