Job Description
Description: Support U.S. Federal and State IT opportunity capture, analysis, and proposal development efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple deadlines, and produce clear, compliant, and persuasive proposal content.Responsibilities:
- Research various websites/portals (for example: GSA eBuy, Sam.gov, Polaris, and various state portals) to identify suitable opportunities
- Conduct in-depth analysis on identified opportunities to make Go / No Go decisions and create Capability Matrices as needed
- Identify upcoming opportunities and assist with opportunity Pipeline creation and maintenance
- Create executive summaries for opportunities and response outlines, response calendar as needed
- Analyze SOW, PWS documents, identify areas that need clarification, and prepare Questions
- Analyze Q&A responses and identify areas that need to be addressed and take appropriate action and escalation as required
- Develop original content, edit and create technical responses for RFIs and RFPs
- Co-ordinate with Technical, Pricing teams, Management and external companies as needed
- Participate in the Color Reviews and help with recovery as needed
- Edit and proofread quality assurance and format documents as needed for delivery
- Update and maintain Proposal documents Library
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and meeting requests within the timelines agreed upon
- Skill Set:
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills and the ability to write persuasively and articulately
- Superior ability to conduct interviews, review products or services, and create strategies.
- Use AI tools to generate graphics to augment the proposal responses.
- Willing and able to keep up with ever-changing technologies
- Ability to translate solutions into effective business proposals
- Track record of writing successful proposals
Tools & Technologies
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Good understanding of various Web and Database technologies
- Good working knowledge of AI tools
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology Proposal Development for U.S. Federal Government contractors
