Project Manager -Railways

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 12+ years of experience in Railway Infrastructure projects to lead and manage end-to-end project execution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in planning, execution, client coordination, contract management, and team leadership while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of railway infrastructure projects from mobilization to project completion.
• Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage construction activities including track works, station buildings, bridges, earthwork, drainage, and allied railway infrastructure.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and productivity to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Railways standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations.
• Review and approve project billing, quantity measurements, and subcontractor payments.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Monitor procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Lead project review meetings and submit periodic progress reports to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards at all project sites.
• Resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues during project execution.
• Manage project documentation, contract administration, and change orders.
• Mentor and guide project engineers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and other project staff.

Qualification

Experience

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Railway Infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale railway EPC projects.
• Experience in coordination with Indian Railways, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), DFCCIL, Metro Rail, or other government railway authorities is preferred.
