JOB PURPOSE:

Should have solid background, knowledge and experience in several of the technologies such as parabolic trough, solar power tower, Integrated Solar Combined Cycles System is required.- Plan, cost schedule and provide work direction as required for preparation of designs, processes, reports, correspondence and related data and assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of large scale solar Thermal Power Plants.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Should be able to study Tender documents, Drawings & Specifications provided by Client and to prepare relevant drawings to the projects, prepare clarifications on the scope of works and specification for sending to the client and shall be fully capable to derive the BOQ of the material from the tender documents, drawings and specifications.
• Responsible for complete activities of bid phase for Renewable Energy Generation Projects starting from 30 MW and above
• Knowledge and ability to review and comment PPA contract documents and all IPP critical documents engineering , financial and legal documents
• Financial Modeling and Tariff estimation.
• Close coordination with the wider Commercial team in the negotiation of new PPA, project finance facilities and project sales
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and forecasting is essential i.e. financial modelling
• Qualified in engineering an accounting or financial professional qualification
• Experienced at managing or co-ordinating complex projects and project teams relevant to the required technical discipline.
• A dynamic approach to data analysis and reporting and progressive, proactive, solution-driven attitude
• A good level of numeracy and computer literacy
• The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both internal and external
• A flexible, committed approach to work - including the willingness to travel to attend meetings, and to take part in training which will allow you to develop in the role
• Conduct power block equipment pricing, power quality performance assessment and energy calculations. Run different heat balance modeling software. Work with plant modeling software to optimize plant performance.
