Project Manager

Position Title: BIM Project Manager - MEP

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BIM Project Manager - MEP to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) BIM project delivery for Middle East clients. The role involves managing end-to-end BIM execution, including project planning, resource allocation, effort estimation, model development, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance, stakeholder management, and timely delivery of BIM models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, design drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client standards.
• Prepare project execution strategies, resource plans, effort estimates, delivery schedules, drawing registers, RFI logs, clash trackers, and QA/QC procedures.
• Lead the BIM development of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, smoke management, plumbing, drainage, water supply, fire protection, and firefighting systems.
• Manage BIM deliverables across LOD 300, 350, 400, and 500, including shop drawings, builders' work openings, sleeves, supports, hangers, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, Electrical, and external stakeholders to resolve design and construction coordination issues.
• Conduct model federation, clash detection, constructability reviews, and issue resolution using Navisworks, ACC Model Coordination, or similar platforms.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, project BIM standards, naming conventions, asset data requirements, model quality standards, and project coordinates.
• Review BIM models, shop drawings, schedules, quantities, and coordination outputs before client submissions.
• Monitor project productivity, planned versus actual hours, quality metrics, issue closure, and delivery performance.
• Mentor BIM Coordinators and Modelers, ensuring adherence to modeling standards, routing strategies, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with strong BIM project delivery experience.
• Professional certifications in BIM, Revit MEP, Navisworks, ISO 19650, or MEP Coordination are preferred.

Experience

• 8-12 years of overall BIM project delivery experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Middle East projects.
• Demonstrated experience in BIM project management, team leadership, estimation, delivery planning, QA/QC, and client coordination.

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, BEP implementation, MIDP/TIDP, RFI management, model coordination, and issue tracking workflows.
• Expertise in interpreting HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, equipment layouts, schematics, and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of MEP spatial coordination, plant rooms, risers, shafts, ceiling coordination, maintenance clearances, and installation sequencing.
• Ability to establish Revit MEP systems, families, parameters, worksets, schedules, templates, and QA/QC workflows.
