Project Manager IT Infrastructure

Role Overview

The Project Manager \IT Infrastructure & IT Security is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT infrastructure and IT security projects. This includes implementing infrastructure, security solutions, servers, storage, networking, and technology upgrade initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and in compliance with governance and PMI standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery

• Develop Project Charters and conduct Project Initiation Meetings
  

• Prepare detailed project plans and manage end\-to\-end project lifecycle
  

• Ensure solution delivery as per approved business requirements and design criteria
  

• Manage project implementation in line with PMI and Agile best practices
  

• Ensure adherence to change management and governance processes
  Testing & Quality Assurance
  

  • Manage all testing phases including SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, and Security Testing
    

  • Ensure acceptance criteria are met before project sign\-off
    Risk, Issue & Change Management
    

    • Identify, track, mitigate, and monitor project risks and issues
      

    • Manage project changes through defined control processes
      Vendor & Stakeholder Management
      

      • Review contracts, negotiate, and finalize agreements with vendors
        

      • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, IT section heads, and senior management
        

      • Conduct project steering committee meetings and regular status reviews
        Documentation & Reporting
        

        • Ensure complete documentation of all project deliverables
          

        • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and progress updates
          

        • Maintain traceability matrix and migration strategies
          

        • Conduct project closure meetings and post\-implementation reviews
          Team Leadership
          

          • Form and manage project teams in coordination with senior management
            

          • Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and promote team motivation
            

          • Resolve conflicts effectively within project teams
            Continuous Improvement
            

            • Use project management tools for effective tracking and execution
              

            • Contribute to development of project management capabilities within the organization
              

            • Stay updated with latest IT infrastructure and security technologies

              Qualifications & Experience
              

              • Bachelor\Degree in Information Technology or higher (MBA preferred)
                

              • 10+ years of experience in project\/program management
                

              • Strong experience in IT Infrastructure and IT Security implementations
                

              • Banking domain experience (Conventional & Islamic banking)
                

              • Strong understanding of SDLC and IT systems best practices
                

              • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
                

              • Proficient in project management tools
                

              • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies
