Job Description

A. Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Assist the HCAPSD Project Lead in delivering key responsibilities by ensuring timely coordination (within the team and externally with line departments and implementing agencies), follow-ups, and information flow.
  • Sectoral Coordination: Manage communication and coordination across various sectors under the projectsuch as transport, industry, agriculture, and residentialto align efforts and resolve cross-cutting issues.
  • Tracking and Follow-Up: Maintain trackers for project milestones, nudge relevant team members and departments for follow-ups, ensure timely progress, and escalate delays or risks as needed.
  • Schedule and Meeting Management: Organise internal and external meetings, track calendars, prepare background materials, and ensure timely documentation and follow-through on action items.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Support preparation of reports, presentations, and policy briefs for review by the HCAPSD Project Lead, ARJUNs leadership and government counterparts; maintain accurate records of decisions, timelines, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Knowledge Management: Assist in the creation and maintenance of a knowledge bank capturing key initiatives, processes, and learnings from the project.

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, operational and problem-solving skills.

C. Qualification Criteria: Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognised University or Professional Institution recognised by Government.


D. Experience Criteria: Minimum 4 years experience, including at least 2 years of relevant experience in coordinating projects or schemes in Government or large organisations, with exposure to Government processes; strong organisational and multitasking capabilities; ability to monitor project deliverables and timelines; and effective communication skills for inter-departmental liaison.
